Wocart

Legal pages

Meta checks that a store has clear policy pages before it runs the store's ads. Every Wocart store therefore starts with four pages, written for a cash-on-delivery store selling in Algeria:

  • Terms and Conditions
  • Privacy Policy
  • Refund and Return Policy
  • Shipping Policy

They are published at /pages/<slug>, linked from the footer, and linked from the order form by a consent line, from the moment the store exists, in Arabic, French and English.

They are a starting point, not legal advice. They describe how cash-on-delivery selling works (no online payment, confirmation by phone, inspection at the door, home or stop-desk delivery) with reference to Algeria's e-commerce (18-05), consumer protection (09-03) and data protection (18-07) laws. Review them for your business.

Edit a page

Dashboard → Pages: pick a page, edit its title and content in the rich-text editor, optionally its SEO title and description, and save. A page still in its original wording is marked Needs review; saving marks it Reviewed. The mark is for you: it never hides a page.

Each language has its own tab. Reset to CodFlow template on one of the four puts back the original wording for that language, after a confirmation. (The dashboard still uses the name CodFlow here.)

Business details

Dashboard → Pages → Business details holds the facts the pages are written from: the legal name, the commercial register (RC), the tax ID (NIF), the address, the contact email and phone, the return window in days (0 means no returns after delivery; refusing at the door is always free), and the delivery-time range.

A field left blank is left out of the pages: they never show a placeholder. Saving the details does not rewrite a page you have edited; it changes what a later Reset to CodFlow template produces.

Pages of your own

New page creates a page you write yourself: an FAQ, an About page. It starts as a draft; publish it, and choose whether it appears in the footer. Unlike the four legal pages, it can be deleted.

Where pages appear

  • At /pages/<slug>. The slug can change; a link already shared with the old one stops working, and the editor warns you before you save.
  • In the footer: every published page shown in the footer, in the order you set.
  • On the order form: "By placing this order, you agree to our Terms and Refund Policy", linked to both, while both are published.

A store without them

A store created before legal pages existed can add them from Pages → Add terms, privacy, refund & shipping; it creates only the missing ones. Through the API: POST /api/store-pages/seed-defaults.

Permissions

store_pages:read to see the pages, store_pages:manage to edit them.

For developers

The pages are under /api/store-pages, the business details under /api/store-pages/legal-profile, and storefronts read a published page with the Storefront SDK.
