# Interface: MenuFieldDefinition

`menu`: which of the store's menus to show here — Shopify's `link_list`.
The value is a menu handle (`main-menu`); the theme reads the menu with
the storefront client's `menus.get(handle)`. A theme never assumes a menu
exists: an unknown handle reads as no menu.
