# Interface: InstanceLocation

Where an instance is: its parent (`null` at the top level) and its slot and
index there — or, for a fixed block, its owner and `fixed`, the name the
owner's definition gives it (`slot` is then `null`).

Levels below the top-level sections (a section is at 0).
