# Interface: ImageFieldDefinition

`image`: one image from the store's own media. The value is a
`MediaReference` — the object's key in the store's media bucket is its
identity; the URL is derived at render from the store's media domain. A
theme cannot know a store's media, so an image field has no default: the
component renders its own fallback when no image is chosen.
