# Function: isPreview()

> **isPreview**(`blocks`): `boolean`

Whether the component renders in an editor's preview. A section with
nothing to show yet — no products picked, no text written — draws a
placeholder there, so a merchant can see and select it; a shopper's page
never shows one.
