# Function: readCartQuote()

> **readCartQuote**(`value`): [`CartValidation`](../interfaces/CartValidation)

A cart quote (`CartValidation`) — the `data` of the theme's cart-validate
route — or null when the value is not one. What the quote says is the
server's: lines re-priced from the catalog, rewards, the subtotal, the free
delivery progress, and, when asked, the delivery fee and the coupon's outcome.
