# Function: productMeta()

> **productMeta**(`product`): [`PageMeta`](../interfaces/PageMeta)

A product's title and description for search engines and shared links:
what the merchant wrote for them, else its name and the start of its own
description as plain text — never markup — within `SEO_TEXT_LIMITS`.
The store's name is the theme's to add to the title.
