# Function: createBrowserAbandonedCheckoutTracker()

> **createBrowserAbandonedCheckoutTracker**(`options`, `host?`): [`AbandonedCheckoutTracker`](../interfaces/AbandonedCheckoutTracker)

`createAbandonedCheckoutTracker` wired to the page: the checkout's id in
`sessionStorage`, timers, the Meta cookies, a `keepalive` POST to the
theme's route, and `sendBeacon` when the shopper leaves. A page that blocks
storage still captures; nothing it does can fail the order.
